• Personal Data: Personally identifiable information, such as your name and email address, which we collect when you sign in with Google or create an account with an email address and password. If you continue as a guest, an anonymous account is created that holds no name or email address.
• User-Generated Content: Drum patterns, musical sequences, and configurations you actively save to our cloud database, and audio files and separated stems from any Audio Editor project you choose to save.
• Content You Submit to Processing Features: Audio you upload for stem separation or drum transcription is processed on our server, and temporary copies are deleted automatically after about an hour. Text or images you submit to AI features, such as the AI Groove Generator or image import, are sent to Google's Gemini API to produce the result.
• Derivative Data: Information our servers automatically collect when you access the application, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, access times, and the pages you have viewed directly before and after accessing the application.

2. How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you to:

• Create and manage your account securely.
• Enable the cloud storage and retrieval of your musical patterns.
• Provide the features you ask for, such as AI pattern generation, stem separation, and drum transcription.
• Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve your experience.
• Prevent abuse, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations. Your information may be disclosed as follows:

• By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others.
• Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third parties that perform services for us or on our behalf, including Google Firebase (for hosting, authentication, database, file storage, and analytics), Google AdSense (for advertising on the web version), and Google's Gemini API (for AI features).

4. Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, tracking pixels, and other tracking technologies on the application to help customize the application and improve your experience. This includes Firebase Auth mechanisms to keep you logged in, and Google Analytics for Firebase, which we use to measure how the application is used.

Advertising: The web version of the application shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads, which may be personalised based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage or opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before ads are personalised.

We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures (such as Firebase's built-in encryption and security rules) to help protect your personal information. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.

6. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You may at any time review or change the information in your account or terminate your account directly in the app settings.

To request deletion of your account and all associated personal data from our servers, please visit our Account & Data Deletion Page or contact us directly at fretandbeat@gmail.com. Upon your request, we will deactivate and permanently wipe your account, saved drum patterns, and personal information from our databases within 48 hours.
